Home energy solutions across Victoria

NRGPAL is based in Oakleigh South, Melbourne, and works with homes across Victoria. We’re a Solar Victoria authorised retailer (since 24 Nov 2023) and a NETCC signatory (since 8 Oct 2025). Four things can change what a home spends on energy: solar, a battery, an EV charger and efficient heating and cooling. Each one stands on its own. There is no wrong order.

Where to start

Start with what you’re trying to fix.

  • The bill is high in the middle of the day: look at solar.
  • You already have solar and export most of it: look at a battery.
  • You’re buying an EV: look at a home charger, and how it fits your switchboard and your solar.
  • A room is too hot or too cold: look at air conditioning.

We’ll say so plainly if one of these isn’t worth doing for your home yet.

Solar

Rooftop solar generates during the day and cuts what you buy from the grid. What it’s worth depends on your roof, your usage and what your distributor allows you to export. We check all three before we quote. Read how we design and install solar, or our guide to Victorian feed-in tariffs.

Battery storage

A battery keeps the solar you generate in the day for the evening, instead of exporting it for a few cents and buying it back after dark. Whether that’s worth it comes down to your evening use, your feed-in tariff and your price per kilowatt-hour. See battery storage and our guide on what size home battery you need.

EV charging

A dedicated home charger is faster and safer than a standard power point, and it can charge from your own solar rather than the grid. What can be installed depends on your switchboard and your supply. Read about EV charging.

Heating and cooling

Reverse-cycle air conditioning heats and cools from the same unit. Tell us about your rooms and we’ll quote it on request: air conditioning, with pages on ducted, multi-head and standard split systems.

Rebates and programs

Programs and rules change. We keep current information, with the date we checked it, on our rebates page, so we don’t repeat it here.

Next step

Not sure which solutions apply to you? Two options, depending on how you’d rather start.

Answer four questions about your property and we’ll show you a system that fits, with an indicative price beside it.

Or talk to someone. If your roof, switchboard or usage is unusual, a short conversation gets you further than any set of questions.
