Who this suits
High-consumption three-phase home.

Before you choose on size
Federal battery certificates are tiered — weighted toward the first 14 kWh of usable capacity, tapering from 14 to 28 kWh, and small above that. A larger battery does not attract a proportionally larger discount. Choose capacity on your evening and overnight usage and whether you want extended backup, not on the rebate.

What is in the FOXESS 9.9kW 41.76kWh 3 Phase battery system

FOXESS 9.9kW 41.76kWh 3 Phase battery system: FOXESS CQ7-M master battery unit
The FOXESS 41.76kWh battery: one CQ7-M master unit (shown) plus five CQ7 modules, 6.96 kWh each.

The FOXESS H3-9.9-Smart three-phase hybrid inverter with a 41.76 kWh CQ7 (V6) high-voltage battery stack — one master unit plus five modules at 6.96 kWh each, all usable.

For a three-phase home wanting both a large array and a large battery, this is the sensible pairing. The inverter accepts up to 20 kW of panels (about 200% of its rating) across three MPPT inputs. The included three-phase smart meter comes with six CTs: three measure import and export at the grid connection, and three can monitor an existing solar inverter if the system is AC-coupled.

A backup (EPS) supply keeps nominated circuits running from the battery during an outage. Installs as new solar or AC-couples onto an existing array.
