Before you choose on size
Federal battery certificates are tiered — weighted toward the first 14 kWh of usable capacity, tapering from 14 to 28 kWh, and small above that. A larger battery does not attract a proportionally larger discount. Choose capacity on your evening and overnight usage and whether you want extended backup, not on the rebate.

What is in the GoodWe 15kW 40kWh 3 Phase battery system
The 15 kW three-phase GoodWe ESA all-in-one with five high-voltage battery modules — 40 kWh of usable storage.
This pairs the largest inverter in our range with a large battery: up to 30 kW of panels at 200% DC oversizing, and enough storage to carry a high-consumption property through extended outages. It suits large homes and small commercial sites where both generation capacity and resilience matter.
The ESA integrates the inverter, meter, backup changeover switch and battery base into one unit and is grid forming, establishing its own supply during an outage.
Because 15 kW is above the usual Victorian residential range, network approval and export limits need confirming for your address. A five-module stack weighs close to 400 kg, so wall structure and clearances are checked at the site assessment. Panels, mounting and installation are quoted separately.
