Before you choose on size
Federal battery certificates are tiered — weighted toward the first 14 kWh of usable capacity, tapering from 14 to 28 kWh, and small above that. A larger battery does not attract a proportionally larger discount. Choose capacity on your evening and overnight usage and whether you want extended backup, not on the rebate.

What is in the GoodWe 9.99kW 32kWh 1 Phase battery system
The GoodWe ESA all-in-one on single-phase supply with four high-voltage battery modules — 32 kWh of usable storage.
32 kWh is a large residential battery. It suits households with high evening consumption, electric heating and hot water, or an EV charged at home, and it gives real multi-day resilience rather than overnight cover alone.
The ESA integrates the inverter, meter, backup changeover switch and battery base into one wall-mounted unit. It is grid forming, so during an outage it establishes and holds its own supply instead of shutting down with the network.
Four MPPT trackers and 200% DC oversizing accept up to 19.98 kW of panels. At this storage size the wall position and clearances need checking — each module weighs 79 kg. Panels, mounting and installation are quoted separately after a site assessment. Indicative values are not a quote.
